Today was a good day...
Waking up for choir was hell, but I made it, and ON TIME. Which is epic for me. Staying true to my roots, I am NEVER EVER on time. So, I was pretty surprised at myself.
After choir, I got to hang out with my best friend, who is back from her trip :) It was nice to be able to talk in person. Although we talk over text, its much easier to rant, complain, laugh, and joke, in person. Texts and phone calls don’t always cut it. We went home, where I FINALLY got her to eat (so I wouldn’t feel like a fatass as I stuffed my face with pizza) and we watched Tangled. I LOVE THAT MOVIE. And my mom liked it. Which is cool, since my mom usually hates movies.
After that, I remained in couch potato mode, and finally got to finish watching Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, a Bollywood Classic. Lets just say I cried like a baby towards the end. Confession? I love watching movies by myself, so I can do exactly that.
And now I’m sitting here, and I’m going to go to bed. I’m trying to rectify my sleeping schedule a little.
Side note: My brother’s constant criticisms are really, really wearing me down. I mean, I’m used to it, but sometimes I just feel like I’ll never do anything right. It’s just a reminder of why taking years to pay back college dorming fees is still WORTH EVERY PENNY.
